Angus industry mourns passing of Pat Grieve

Angus Australia was saddened to hear of the passing of Mrs Pat Grieve of Talooby Angus.

Mrs Grieve was the wife of the late Mr Ron Grieve (OAM) and Honorary Life Member of Angus Australia.

Mr and Mrs Grieve established the “Talooby” Angus herd – the first Angus herd in the Bylong valley in 1953. The Grieve’s went on to become well respected not only in the Angus world, but in the cattle industry as a whole.

Mrs Grieve is survived by her son Peter, whom still runs the Talooby Angus stud, and daughter Jill.

Mrs Grieve’s funeral will be held on Monday 8th February at 11 am, St John’s Church, Mudgee.
