Trade weight 3 score lambs to slaughter gained 9¢ to settle on 569¢/kg cwt

The eastern states restocker lamb indicator decreased 10¢ to 550¢/kg cwt this week with Merino lambs easing 1¢ to 507¢/kg cwt.

Light lambs were unchanged on 529¢/kg cwt, trade lambs slipped 1¢ to 550¢/kg cwt, and heavy lambs were back 4¢ on 551¢/kg cwt. The mutton indicator lost 1¢ on 311¢/kg cwt.

Consignments eased at Dubbo this week, with a total of 23,650 sheep and lamb yarded. There was a good selection of heavy weight lambs and Dorper lambs were well supplied.

Sheep and lamb numbers lifted at Bendigo to 23,377 head. Quality was very mixed with those being supplementary fed showing the best finish.

Trade weight first cross 3 score lambs eased 20¢ to average 521¢/kg cwt
Heavy weight 3 score lambs to slaughter were cheaper to range in price from 475¢ to 552¢/kg cwt
Medium weight 2 score Merino ewes lifted 2¢ to average 302¢/kg cwt
