The 2016 NCWSBA Wool Broker Award to recognise excellence in service to woolgrowers has just been launched.
In its fifth year, the annual Award recognises client servicing, auctioneering and/or innovation by an outstanding wool broker employee who is working for a NCWSBA member and has been in the wool broking industry for 10 years or less.
The prize in 2016 is a fully paid trip to attend the 2017 IWTO Congress in Istanbul, Turkey in May 2017.
There will also be an opportunity to visit mills to learn about the wool textile industry in Turkey. This has been made possible by the generous support of the Award Sponsors – AWTA Ltd and Fairfax Agricultural Media.
NCWSBA is now calling for applications from wool broker staff. To be eligible, applicants must have been working in the wool broking industry for 10 years or less and be employed by a NCWSBA member company.
