Wool-testingNew on-farm technology will be the focus of a Sheep Technology and Innovation workshop In South Australia on August 17.
This event at Mintaro will help producers take the steps towards improving profitability using new technology, including how to plan and manage a technology project, how to convince business and family members to take on practice change, and what benefits are available from a range of technological solutions.

Featuring:

  • Hamish Dickson, AgriPartner Consulting: Creating a burning bridge; how to motivate your farming business to try new things
  • Patrick Redden, Rural Directions Pty Ltd: Planning for success; how to manage a technology project
  • Presentations and demonstrations from sheep technology suppliers
  • Update on the Mid North Young Guns technology scholarship projects investigating internet connectivity, remote camera monitoring, wool measurement and recording, electric fencing and EM38 mapping
