Some of Australia’s most awarded Holsteins were recognised at the Holstein Australia National Awards night, held at Nowra on 24 August.
The prestigious Semex/Holstein Australia All Australian competition is a national photographic competition that recognises excellence in conformation and showing in Holstein females that have been successful at nominated qualifying shows throughout Australia each year.
The Gordon family (Gorbro Holsteins), from Cohuna, North West Victoria took out both the coveted awards, Premier Breeder and Premier Exhibitor.
The Premier Breeder and Premier Exhibitor awards are based on points allocated to each finalist, honourable mention, reserve and winners in each category.
