Dairymen from throughout Victoria were at the Koonwarra Selling Centre for the Complete Dispersal of the Caldermeade Farm herd of the Jelbart Family.
Sale top of $3900 was paid for an outstanding 3 year old Gold Crown daughter.
She was selected by Cope Farming of Fish Creek, these buyers were strong throughout the sale and also included the top selling 2 year old, a Dotson heifer at $3400 along with a Gold Crown 3 year old at $3100 and a 4 year old by the same sire at the same figure.
Other strong buyers included R Mortlock of Foster who paid second high of $3600 for a four-year old Gold Crown and $3200 each for four three-year olds by Gold Crown.
There was very strong demand for the many Medallion and Delsanto cows on 2nd and 3rd lact along with the complete line of two-year olds.
All lots were autumn calved, those back in calf av $2035.
