This mob was a line of Bundilla Merino stud bred 16 to 17 month old 53kg future breeders from Young, NSW.
Proven Merino breeders ranging from 3 to 7 year old sold from $85 to $240 with an average of $140.
Highlights included 5 to 6 year old scanned in lamb ewes from Talwood, QLD selling for $177. 4 to 5 year old scanned in lamb ewes from Forbes, NSW selling for $175. 5 year old unjoined ewes from Cooma, NSW selling for $170.
This saw just over 19,000 merino wethers and wether lambs offered. Wether lambs averaged $98 with a range of $65 through to $136.50 for a line of 47kg April/May drop lambs from Prairie, VIC, with a ¾’’ skin.
While a line of 43kg April/May drop lambs from Traynors Lagoon, VIC sold for $127. Grown merino wethers sold from $60 through to $127.50 with an average of $105.
First Cross ewe lambs saw an average price of $189 with a range of $120 to $266. Ewe lamb numbers were boosted with the on farm interface of the Gnadbro Pastoral Co Inaugural 1st Cross Ewe Lamb Sale at Collingullie, NSW.
The sale saw an average price of $232 with a top of $266 for 59kg 8 to 9 month old lambs. First Cross hoggets this week were topped by a line of 19 to 20 month old 78kg from Dookie, VIC which were scanned in lamb to Feltrim Poll Dorset rams, selling for $320.
Other highlights this week included 21 to 22 month old 60kg scanned in lamb Dohne ewes from Narembeen, WA selling for $180. While unjoined Lambpro Primeline July/Aug drop future breeder ewe lambs from Holbrook, NSW sold for $177
