Glenlyon Shorthorns celebrate 60 years of breeding

Thousand-Guineas-3Glenlyon Shorthorns at Terip Terip Shorthorns are celebrating 60 years of breeding Shorthorns by holding two open dos in March this year.

Alex Rowan, Glenlyon Shorthorns, has seen many changes over the last 60 years, but his dedication to his Shorthorn breeding program has never changed in this time and he is excited to present the Glenlyon herd for inspection.

The open days will be held Sunday March 11th and Sunday March 18th, commencing at 10.30 am and will feature Sale Bulls and Females on display as well as a lunch provided serving Thousand Guineas product to those attending.

Graham Winnell, Shorthorn Beef will also be in attendance to discuss the Thousand Guineas Branded Beef program with those interested.
