PTIC heifers averaged $1,386 and sold to a top of $1,610 on AuctionsPlus last week.

This top price went to a line of Lawons, Te Mania and Rennylea blood Angus heifers from ‘Balmoral Park Angus’ Yea, VIC.

These heifers are aged 18 to 29 months, weigh 459kg and are PTIC to a Te Mania Angus Bull.

Proven breeders averaged $1,365 and sold to a top of $1450.

This top price went to a line of Rennylea blood Angus cows from ‘Winterthur P/L’ Nundle, NSW. These cows are aged 3.5 to 5.5 years, weigh 446kg and are PTIC to Angus and Poll Hereford bulls.

From ‘Mt Mica Grazing’ Clermont, QLD a line of predominately Brahman cows sold for $1,175. These EU accredited cows are 2 to 10 years old, weigh 533kg and are PTIC to Brahman bulls.

Cow and calf highlights include two lines from ‘Sporne Enterprises’ Clermont, QLD. Firstly, a line of Brahman and crossbred cows which sold for $1,210.

These cows are 2 to 12 years, weighing 434kg and have also been depastured to Brahman and Charolais bulls. The Brahman and Charolais calves at foot are 2 to 4 months and weigh 147kg. Another line of 3 to 13 year old cows weighing 355kg and have been depastured to the same bulls. The calves at foot are 1 to 4 months old and weigh 140kg.

From ‘A & K Livestock’ Muckadilla, QLD a line of crossbred cows and calves sold for $1,650. These cows are aged 2 to 4 years, weigh 433kg and have 2 to 14 week old Angus calves at foot weighing 135kg.

‘Strathbogie Pastoral’ Emmaville, NSW offered two lines this week with the older 8.5 to 9.5 year old portion selling for $1,410.

These cows have been bred from Clunie Range Angus blood and have 4 to 5 month old Angus calves at foot. The second line, a line of Angus and Angus cross cows and calves sold for $1,300.

These cows are 3.5 to 9.5 years old, weigh 440kg and have been depastured to Angus bulls with 6 to 10 week old calves at foot.
