The 2018 Sydney Royal drew one of the largest and most competitive showings of Shorthorns seen for many years, outside of the National Shorthorn Show and Sale.

Behind the success of the event, was the merging of the Shorthorn groups into the one judging ring in Sydney, which made the event an outstanding spectacle for those competing and those that were watching from outside the judging ring.

With the Australian Shorthorns, Beef Shorthorns and Shorthorns all combined, the larger classes made judge Andrew Raff, Raff Angus, King Island, work hard to find his Champions.
