Dairymen from throughout Victoria were at Shepparton Selling Centre for the DLS Selection Sale of registered Holsteins and Jerseys.
Sale top of $3,900 was paid for Coldara Damion Briyana, VG 88, this 7 year old is from an EX 91, 6E dam and EX 91, 5E grand dam, she sold a/c G & B Joiner to the well known Clydevale herd of the Dee Family.
Next top price of $3,400 was paid by P & A DeCicco for Coldara Jasper Tia, VG 88 an 8th gen EX & VG bred from the Deslac Canadian line. The same buyer also selected Coldara Durham Shira, VG 88 a 9th gen EX & VG from the famed Cretonne line at $3,200.
Benevento Park Holsteins of Undera paid $3,250 for the recently classified VG 85 heifer Newhope Goldendreams Tiffany a/c B Fuller.
Also sold was a selection of well bred Jerseys they topped at $3,000 for Stoneleigh Park Galaxie Becky 2 a fine uddered young cow bred down from a former World record producer Sunny Day Yankee Becky, Ex, she was purchased by C Ferrari of Princetown. The same buyer also selected Stoneleigh Park Regan Mistletoe, VG at $1,900 and Shenstone Nella 134 a BW Country 4 year old at $1,800.
