Trefusis Merino stud wins national champion fleece

Fleece-championGeorgina Wallace, Trefusis Merino Stud, Ross, Tasmania has again reigned supreme, taking out the title of Grand Champion in the 2018 Australian Fleece Competition with a fine Merino fleece.

Trefusis is the first exhibitor to take out the major award three times in the competition’s 18 year history.

The competition attracted 446 entries this year, an increase of 7% on last year’s number, representing all major wool types and wool growing states.
