Merino ewe lambs averaged $136 and sold from $66 to $204 on AuctionsPlus last week.

This top price went to a line of 160 future breeders from Jamestown, SA. These Moorundie Park blood lambs were June-July 2017 drop, weighing in at 41 kg and found a buyer in Mundulla, SA.

Merino ewe hoggets were in tight supply, with 877 head offered. The top price of $160 was made by a line of Poll Merino ewe hoggets from Peterborough, SA.

These Gumhill blood girls are 37 kg and are on their way to Naracoorte, SA. Merino ewes averaged $147, and ranged from $48 to $255.

This top price went to 354 ewes out of Pinkawillinie, SA. These Leachim blood ewes have a 1.5” skin, are 65 kg and are heading to Naracoorte, SA.

Merino wether lambs averaged $69, and ranged from $50 to $108. This top price of $108 or 275c/kg live came out of Normans, in Upper Great Southern WA, to a line of Nepowie merino lambs. These lambs averaged 39 kg, and are on their way to York, WA.

There was strong interest around all first cross ewe lambs on the box this week, with all lots receiving bids and a clearance of 72%.

Prices ranged from $135.5 to $226 and averaged $184. This top price went to 300 future breeder ewes from Tullamore, NSW. These lambs are bred out of Belswick and Glamis blood, are 50 kg and are on their way to Wagga Wagga, NSW.

First cross ewes averaged $197, and topped out at $225. This top line of ewes came out of Nhill, VIC, and have been joined to White Suffolk rams. They are 60kg and found a buyer in Naracoorte, SA.

More highlights include a line of Dorper ewes & lambs out of Canowindra, NSW that sold for $149. They averaged 55 kg, are 2 years old and are heading to Cowra, NSW.

Dohne ewes from Nurioopta, SA sold for $146. These Hill view blood Dohnes are 4 years old, bred for their wool cut and found a buyer in Crystal Brook, SA.
