Paringa Archival Brooke tops Paringa sale at $8000

Dairy-sale--11A large crowd of interested Holstein fanciers were at the Shepparton Selling Centre for the 3rd Stage Complete Dispersal Sale of the long established dual Master Breeder Paringa herd of Pam Malcolm.

Sale top of $8,000 was paid by the well known Calderlea herd of L & L Calder of Meeniyan for the Imported ET heifer Paringa Archrival Brooke, this big stylish grand daughter of Butz Butler Gold Barbara, EX 95 was backed by 8 gens of EX.

Next top price of $7200 was Paringa Octane Opaline from an EX dam from the Opa – Toni line and sold close to sexed Solomon she was bought by the strongest buyer of the sale, L Prout of Corra Lea Holsteins, Kerang.

Among other selections for Corra Lea was Paringa Unbelievable Zelie, VG 88 with over 12,000 litres at $7000 and her daughter Paringa Dude Zoely at $5900. Paringa Meridian Marla at $6500, Paringa Elude Bobbie at $6000 and Paringa Solomon Mimic backed by 8 gens of EX & VG dams at $5400.

C & R Moon of Numurkah selected Paringa Fever Peanut who sold close to Doorman and backed by 7 gens of EX & VG dams at $6300.

Avonlea Holsteins paid $6000 for the stylish Paringa Goldchip Cosy from a5th genEX&VGdam.

K & H Jones of Foster paid $5700 for the correct Red heifer Paringa McApple Midgey backed by 7 gens of EX & VG dams.

Volume buyers N & M Staley of Yarram returned to select a full sister to a previous Paringa purchase in Paringa Windbrook Adelaide (Imp.ET) from a VG dam then 15 gens of all EX at $5100.

Selling agents Dairy Livestock Services report – 99 Holsteins gross $278,150 and average $2810.
