These five-year-old merino ewes from Finley, NSW, sold for $245.

Scanned in lamb Merino ewes sold from $104 to $245, averaging $154 on AuctionsPlus last week.

A line of 316 SIL Poll Merino ewes from Finley, NSW achieved the top price. These ewes are Willurah blood, weighing 59kgs, 18-19 months, with a 3’’ skin.

They are joined to Suffolk rams and will travel intrastate to Forbes, NSW. From Navarre, VIC two lots of 265 SIL Merino ewes sold for $150.

These ewes are Charinga/Avenel blood, weighing 52kgs, aged 4 years and are SIL to Merino rams.

Selling from $91 to $176 non-station mated Merino ewes averaged $130. From Gulgong, NSW a line of 247 Merino ewes, A/c ‘Slapdash Creek Partnership’ achieved top price.

Weighing 61kgs, these ewes are Glanna blood, rising 6 years, with a 2” skin and will remain in NSW. A line of 250 Merino ewes, offered as part of the ‘CB & CE Keating’ flock dispersal from Berrybank, VIC sold for $122. These ewes are Wallaloo Park blood, weighing 39kgs, 1.5 years with a 2’’ skin and will travel interstate to Kingston, SA.

Merino wethers sold from $60 to $133, averaging $105 an increase of $8 on last week. A line of 335 wether hoggets, also A/c ‘Slapdash Creek Partnership’, achieved top price.

These wethers are Glanna blood, weighing 44kgs, 18-19 months, have a 2” skin and will remain in NSW. From Orange, NSW a line of 430 wethers sold for $86. These wethers are Kerin Poll blood, weigh 42kgs freshly shorn, are aged 18 months and were secured by a NSW processor.

Merino wether lambs sold from $74.50 to $113, averaging $95. From Mintar, SA a line of 300 Merino store wether lambs returned the top price.

These wethers are Moorundie Park blood, weighing 40kgs freshly shorn and are May/Jun 18’ drop. From Thallon, QLD a line of 350 store wether lambs sold for $81. These wethers are 29kgs, Aug/Sep 18’ drop, with a 1 ¾” skin and will travel interstate to Yetman, NSW.

Scanned in lamb First Cross ewes sold from $130 to $220, averaging $188. Achieving top price was a line of 195 ewes from Mulwala, NSW.

These ewes are Egelabra blood, aged 3.5 years, weighing 80kgs, joined to Poll Dorset and White Suffolk rams and were purchased locally.

From Benalla, VIC a line of 150 ewes sold for $174. These ewes are rising 3 years, weigh 54kgs, are joined to Poll Dorset rams and will travel across the border to Finley, NSW.

First cross ewe lambs sold from $145 to $218, averaging $173. A line of 104 NSM ewes from Narromine, NSW achieved the top price.

These ewes are 11-12 months, freshly shorn weighing 51kgs and will remain in NSW. From Walgett, NSW 550 ewe lambs sold for $150. These ewes are 29kgs, Aug/Sep 18’ drop, with a 2 ¼” skin and will travel intrastate to Forbes, NSW.

Crossbred lambs sold from 228c to 415c, averaging 347c. The top price was achieved by a line of 380 Composite cross mixed sex store lambs from Yea, VIC.

These lambs are 35kgs, Aug/Sep 18’ drop with a ½” skin and will travel across the border to Gulgong, NSW. From Gilgandra, NSW a line of 105 White Suffolk/Merino mixed sex store lambs sold for 345c. These lambs are 36kgs, Sep/Oct 18’ drop with a 1.5” skin and will travel south to Crookwell, NSW.
