PTIC Heifers sold from $920 to $1,530 to average $1,245 with the top price line of 19 to 20 month old, Simmental/ Angus heifers from Orange, NSW, on AuctionsPlus.

These heifers weigh 480kgs and have been PTIC to Angus bulls and are heading to Nimmitabel, NSW.

Another noteworthy lot is a line of Landfall blood Angus heifers from Ross, TAS which sold for $1,420 to a local Tassie buyer. These heifers are aged 18 to 20 months, weigh 473kgs and are PTIC to Angus bulls.

PTIC Cows overall sold from $700 to $1,450 to average $1,025. Proven breeders averaged $1,110 and mixed aged lines averaged $913.

The top price went to a line of Hazeldean blood Angus cows from Cooma, NSW. These cows are rising 5 years, weigh 556kgs and have been PTIC to Hazeldean Angus bulls.

Another highlight includes a line of Te Mania blood Angus cows from Gunning, NSW which sold for $1,110. These cows are aged 3.5 to 10.5 years, weigh 525kgs and have been PTIC to Angus bulls.

Cow and calf units sold from $510 to $1,770 to average $1,168. The top price went to a line of Banquet blood Angus cows and calves from Casterton, VIC.

These cows are aged 3 to 4 years and weigh 466kgs. The Dollar Angus calves at foot are 3 to 4 weeks old and weigh 63kgs. From Cooyar, QLD a line of crossbred cows aged 4 to 11 years, weighing 428kgs sold for $950. The Santa Gertrudis and Hereford calves at foot are 1 to 7 months old and weigh 157kgs.

Weaner Steers sold from 223c to 342c to average 297c, down 10c. The top price went to a line of unweaned Hereford and Hereford cross steers from Bridport, TAS.

These steers are aged 8 to 9 months and weigh 272kgs and will remain in Tasmania. Weaner heifers sold from 99c to 275c to average 233c, down 29c.

The top price went to a line of Angus heifers, aged 6 to 8 months, weigh 204kgs and have been bred from a Rennylea based herd.

Yearling and grown steers sold from 216c to 332c to average 285c down 12c. The top price went to a line of Angus steers from Walcha, NSW which are 17 to 20 months and weigh 438kgs.

Yearling and grown heifers sold from 97c to 300c to average 228c, down 30c. The top price went to a line of Drayton Park blood, Red Angus heifers aged 13 to 14 months and 387kg.
