From Bathurst, NSW a line of Nanena blood lambs, Sep 18’ drop weighing 34kg returned $132.5 and will travel across the border to Delacombe, VIC. Ewe hoggets sold from $87 to $280, averaging $178, steady on last week.
From Balranald, NSW Wallaloo Park blood ewes, aged 13-14 months and weighing 56kgs sold for $225 to a buyer across the border in Bendigo, VIC.
Whilst two lines of Yalgoo blood ewes, aged 21 months, weighing 32kg with a 1” skin from Casterton, VIC sold for $88 to a buyer across the Tasman Sea. Young Breeders (2-4 years) averaged $186, selling from $130 to $230.

Merino wether lambs sold from $90 to $142, averaging $127, up $7 on last week. The top price was returned by a line of Springvale North blood store wether lambs from Orroroo, SA.
These lambs are Aug/Sep 18’ drop and weigh 40kg with a 1 ½” skin. From Warialda, NSW Collarenebri and Nerstane blood store wether lambs returned $128.
These lambs are Sep/Oct 18’ drop and weigh 30kg with a 2” skin. Wether hoggets averaged $127, selling from $120.5 to $136. From Ilfracombe, QLD a line of Roselea (Muckadilla) blood woolgrower wethers returned the top price.
These wethers are 22-23 months, weigh 52kg with a 1 ½” skin and will travel 2,000km to Victoria. Grown wethers sold from $95 to $181, averaging $148.
Border Leicester/Merino ewe lambs averaged $200, $15 down on last week, selling from $119 to $290. From Warren, NSW a line of Mar/May 18’ drop 1st cross ewe suckers weighing 25kg sold for $203 to a buyer across the border at Willowmavin, VIC.
From Dobie, VIC SIL ewe lambs aged 11-12 months, weighing 43kg and joined to Suffolk rams returned $216. 1st Cross ewe hoggets sold from $200 to $390, averaging $269.
From Grenfell, NSW a line of 14-15 month, non-station mated (NSM) ewes weighing 50kg returned $200. Young sold from $192 to $290, averaging $246. 2-3 year old SIL ewes joined to Poll Dorset rams, weighing 68kg from Trundle, NSW returned $261.
Proven breeders averaged $209, selling from $147 to $270. The top price was returned by a line of 6-7 years old NSM ewes, weighing 63kg from Western Flat, SA with 6-10 week old lambs at foot sired by White Suffolks.
To other breeds, a highlight saw a line of pure White Dorper SIL ewes from Deniliquin, NSW return $226.
These ewes are 2-3 years, weigh 62kg, are joined to Dorper and Australian White rams and will travel 1,300km to Augathella, QLD. From Rocklands, VIC a line of Composite future breeder ewe lambs, Jul/Aug 18’ drop weighing 45kg returned $169 and will travel across the border into SA.
Store lamb listings spiked this week off the back of strong prices last week seeing 9,658 head offered, an increase of 6,334 head.
Demand from buyers remained strong with the category achieving a 95% clearance. Top prices included:
