Linsand Doorman Ladybug tops dispersal at $8000

Antvale-dispersalDairy enthusiasts from throughout NSW along with Victoria and Queensland were keen to secure top lots at the recent herd Dispersal of the Antvale herd of Anthony and Caitlin Coombes of Long Flat, NSW brought on by the severe drought conditions.

Sale top of $8,000 was paid for Linsand Doorman Ladybug (ET), a daughter of the Holstein Breeds only EX 97 cow in Australia, the two time IDW Grand Champion Fairvale Morty Lady 51, she was purchased by R Russel1 of Western Victoria.

Next top selling Holstein at $6800 was the stylish young cow Horizon Mascalese Paradise 3 a daughter of Carisma Cairnhill Paradise, EX 91 selling to Coolea Holsteins of Numbaa, NSW.

These same buyers also selected Murribrook Attic Lysterine, VG 88 an OFC winner at $6500, Murribrook Savior Verbena, VG at $4000 and Murribrook Shottle Robyn at $3750.

Other noted Holstein sales included Eclipsepeirce LR Class Chanel (Imp.ET) at $5000 to S Coombes of Attunga, this top young cow was bred from the renowned Larcrest ā€˜Cā€™ family. C Cowan of Hannam Vale selected Antvale Windbrook Raven (Imp.ET) bred from the Markvale Ravens at $3800.

Alex Crawford of Cohuna, Vic paid $3700 for Lightning Ridge CMD McCutchen Abbie, VG, a daughter of MS Atlees Goldwyn Ariel, EX 92.

The registered Holsteins av $2466.

Top selling Jersey at $7000 was the tremendous young cow Cairnbrae Valentino Estelle 24 bred from many gens of EX dams, the same maternal line as the well known AI Sire, Elton.

She was purchased by R Wilson of Jamberoo, NSW. This buyer also paid $5000 for the fresh heifer by Valentino of Ascot Park breeding.
