Agricultural Alliance dispersal tops at $3500

Agricultural-alliance-cowThe Complete Dispersal Sale of the Holstein herd of Agricultural Alliance Investments International of Kyabram saw a top of $3500 for a 1st lactation 2 year old calved last Spring and due again in September to AI sire Christmas.

She was purchased by L & S Roberts of Binginwarri in South Gippsland.
These same buyers selected several Spring calved cows including a 4 year old due again in the Spring for $3100 and a 7 year old by Fever at $2800.

Other noted sales of Spring calved cows included a 3 year old by Freeze at $3000 to L Prout of Kerang, the same buyer also selected a 4 year old due to Christmas at $2900. Also at $2900 was a 6 year old Aftershock daughter to A Herbert of Yarroweyah.

There was extra strong demand for any cows still in milk.

Noted sales of Autumn calving cows included a 4 year old due March to Mookie at $2600 C & L Jones of Patho and a 10 year old by Goldwyn to D Smith of Congupna also at $2600.

Selling agents Dairy Livestock Services report buyers were from all parts of Northern Victoria along with Gippsland, Western Victoria and the Southern Riverina of NSW
