Munde Park Impression Jean tops at $8200

Munde-park-jeanThe Master Breeder Munde Park herd of Mark and Debbie Jarrett held their Complete Dispersal Sale on farm at Bolong, Nowra, NSW following the sale of their farm.

Sale top of $8,200 was paid for the outstanding 5 year old freshly calved Munde Park Impression Jean (pictured), a wonderful uddered cow, she had made over 9,900 litres on last lactation, her dam is VG 88 with over 14,900 litres and her 3rd dam is VG 89 also over 14,000 litres, she was purchased by Shierlaw Dairies of Jamberoo.

Next top of $4,100 was Munde Park Savior Lass currently milking 47 litres from a VG Shottle dam, she sold to A & A Crawford of Numbaa.

Third high of $4,000 was Murribrook Reginald Pearl bred from the noted Gail family, she sold to M Downes of Numbaa.

Coming in at next best price of $3,800 was Munde Park Fever Velvet, VG 87 to P & W Cullen of Gerringong, the same buyer also selected Munde Park Bolton Noreen, VG at $3,400. Also at $3,800 was Munde Park Impression Velvet selling to C & S Walsh of Jaspers Brush.

Other noted sales included Munde Park Fever Dimples, VG 87 at $3,400 to A Henry of Numbaa who selected several lots.

Selling agents Dairy Livestock Services report there was very strong demand for freshly calved cows and heifers, many selling in the $3,000 to $3,200 range, with the freshly calved heifers selling for a $2,915 average.
