Seven-month-old heifer makes $21,000 at Kaarmona sale

Kaarmona-heiferAt the recent Kaarmona ‘Once in Decade’ Sale an outstanding top of $21,000 was reached for Kaarmona Nacash Destiny 19.

This correct seven month heifer boasts a gBPI of +486 and a GLPI of +3763, she is from a GP 83 Deltalambda dam then 12 generations of EX & VG from the World famous A-L-H Oman Destiny family. She was purchased by Australian Fresh Milk Holdings of Orange, NSW.

Next top of $15,000 was paid for Kaarmona Slamdunk Destiny 6, a top young cow with sons in AI with gBPI’s to over 500, she was purchased by Bryan and Jo Dickson of Emu Banks Holsteins, Terang, Vic.

These buyers also selected her daughter, Kaarmona Complete Destiny 14, gBpi + 407 at $10,000 along with Kaarmona Nacash Deo 3, gBPI +437, a focus heifer from a VG Wrangler dam at $5,000.

Third high seller at $13,700 was Kaarmona Kingdoc Amaretto 5, GP 83, this great uddered 1st lactation cow sold due to sexed Deltalambda and is bred from 11 gens of EX & VG dams, she was purchased by Hallyburton Farms of Cobden.

Her full sister, Kaarmona Kingdoc Amaretto 4 sold due to Diamondback for $7,000 to L Prout of Kerang.

Cherrylock Cattle Co selected the exceptional uddered young cow Kaarmona Mogul Shauna 3, VG 86 who completes 11 gens of EX & VG at $9,000. D & A Mathews of Dumbalk paid $6,500 for the classy yearling Kaarmona Licorice Amaretto 7.

Other noted sales included Kaarmona Bandares Olympia 2, GP 84 at $6,000 to P Fullerton of Nirranda. Kaarmona Slamdunk Marigold 23 at $5,300 to R & R Robins of Cohuna and Kaarmona Silver Carly 198, a top young VG 87 cow at $5,000 to J & M Shannon Past Co of Katunga.
