Jacob Park Monterey Polkadot tops at $6500 for Wildwood Dairies

Wildewood-dairiesDairy Farmers from throughout Victoria and NSW bid freely on the outstanding offering at the First Stage Complete Dispersal Sale for Wildwood Dairies of Lardner in Gippsland.

Sale top of $6,500 was paid for the outstanding quality Jacob Park Monterey Polkadot, this 4 year old is from an 8th gen EX & VG Shottle dam from the famed Eagle Ridge Polkadot family and sold to K Matieson of Trafalgar.

The same buyer also selected Dumbarton Kenosha Patsy, a 4 year old at $5,000 backed by leading sires Dorcy, Forbidden, Mark Sam & Leader.

Top selling Commercial cow was a 2nd lactation cow by Sunlight at $5,100 and was purchased by M & J Winter of Warragul South.

The same buyers also selected several other top lots including a 3 year old CBSamite at $4,300. Rob Glover of Katandra West in Northern Victoria selected a tremendous line of cows including a 3 year old CBSamite from a Deceiver dam milking 50 litres at $4,750. W Davy of Yanakie paid $4,700 for an exceptional 2 year old STGFondoo heifer milking over 40 litres.
