Sheepvention back in 2022 plus Sheep Connect conference in February

SheepventionThe Hamilton P & A Society are delighted to offer two events in 2022 with Sheepvention back for three days in August at the Hamilton Showgrounds and the Sheep Connect conference in February.

“The national plan for the COVID 19 response has given us much more certainty.  We are now able to run our events in a very similar way to pre COVID.  We are thrilled to be able to deliver Sheepvention again.

“It will be great to welcome back all our visitors to the region as well,” P & A Society, Business and Events Manager, Peta Anderson said.

The stalwarts of Sheepvention: The Hamilton and Western District Sheep Show, ram sale, inventions and yard dog events will all be returning.

A strong uptake in trade exhibitors is also anticipated.  Sheepvention will be held from Sunday July 31st to Tuesday August 2ndin a similar format to previous events.

“The Sheepvention Committee is also on the look out for new members.  Many people don’t realise that Sheepvention is entirely volunteer driven.  The event has grown from strength to strength.   More volunteers are needed to meet the demands of the field days.

We are after a diverse group of people too.  Support is needed across all areas from food and wine, promotions, fashions and sheep -plus many more.  To see Sheepvention continue to grow it is vital we attract new members.

“We hope that any member of the community interested will reach out.  It really is the more the merrier,” Ms Anderson said.

The Sheep Connect Conference will be held on February 15 2022 at the Hamilton Showgrounds, tickets will be on sale in January.

Sheepvention will be held 31 July to August 2  2022 and prospectuses will be available in February.
