Weaner sales kick off in the south in the new year, in what is expected to be a record-breaking start to the weaner sales season, particularly for breeders of Angus and Angus influenced cattle.
Angus Australia will be offering cash prizes for the Champion pen of Angus steers and Champion pen of Angus heifers at the following sales:
- 5th January, 9am – NVLX Wondonga Angus weaner sale – Independent agents
- 5th January, 2pm – Wangaratta Livestock Exchange premier weaner sale
- 6th January, 9am – NVLX Wodonga Angus weaner sale – Elders & Nutrien
- 10th January, 12pm – Hamilton Angus steer weaner sale – Independent agents
- 11th January, 12pm – Hamilton Angus steer weaner sale – Elders & Nutrien
