Sale top of $32,000 was paid early in the sale for the VG 88, 2nd lact cow Murribrook Diamond Vetta, this impressive young cow with a superb rear udder was purchased by TR Investments and F & D Borba, USA. Next top lot at $28,000 was the equally impressive young cow Murribrook Diamond Vera, VG 88, this daughter of the well known Murribrook Goldwyn Verbena, EX 92 was sold to Eclipse Genetics. Her 6 month Sidekick daughter sold as the next lot for $10,000 to H & S Dodd.
Third high seller at $26,000 was the just scored VG 87 2 year old Lightning Ridge CMD Tatoo Bamba selling to Staley Family of Yarram.
The former IDW and All Australian winner Murribrook Doorman Candace, EX 91 sold as a flush cow at $21,000. CL Freemantle P/L of Prairie paid $20,000 for Elmar Chief Jessica 459, yearling daughter of well known IDW Grand Champion Goldwyn Jessica 11, EX 93.
Many keen judges were most complimentary of Wigley Doc Apple, VG 88, a King Doc bred down from Apple-Red, EX 96, she sold at $18,000 to J Jennings. Jeff Van Dijk of Weerite selected the correct red cow Coomboona Diamondback Sally, VG, a daughter of Blondin Destry Sally, EX 93 at $17,000.
Also at $17,000 was the outstanding Autumn calving heifer Lightning Ridge FD Avalanche Katrysha (Imp.ET), this grand daughter of World Dairy Expo Champion Goldwyn Katrysha, EX 97 was purchased by Acuity Cows.
Local breeders Struan Trading paid $16,000 for Lightning Ridge WSMR Avalanche Jasmine, a daughter of the EX 96 Knonaudale Jasmine. TR Investments selected Lightning Ridge Unix Loana (Imp.ET) a grand daughter of World Dairy Expo Grand Champion Jacobs Lauthority Loana, EX 97 also at $16,000.
Top selling Jersey lot at $24,000 was the Show Champion Lightning Ridge MB VIP Navidad, VG 87 on 1st lact. She sold to C Couch of Laang.
Top selling embryos at $1,800 each were from the 2 time WDE R & W Grand Champion Strans-Jen-D Tequila-Red, EX 96 selling to Hawthorn Glen Holsteins of Katunga.
