Young Wagyu breeders sought for leadership workshop

Wagyu-6The Australian Wagyu Association has been invited to provide two leading young Wagyu breeders to attend a Young Breed Leaders Workshop conducted by the Australian Registered Cattle Breeders Association (ARBCA).

The workshop is designed to build strategic knowledge in the beef seedstock industry.

It also provides the opportunity to prepare and encourage the attendees to also consider breed board directorships in the future.

ARCBA will contribute $200 per place and the Wagyu Fellowship will contribute $800 per place to assist with workshop costs, travel and accommodation.

Applications to include your name, address, date of birth and contact details and should answer the following:

  1. Your current role in Wagyu breeding,
  2. Any previous noteworthy achievements,
  3. Any short course or tertiary training,
  4. Any participation in breed society youth activities,
  5. Your aspirations for your future as a registered breeder,
  6. How this workshop would help you.

Applications close Thursday 8 June 2017.
