206kg Angus steers from Walcha, NSW, took top honours in the 250 – 300kg steer category of the sale with a hefty $955 (367c/kg)
Young weaner Angus heifers weighing 247kg from Guyra, NSW, topped the under 250kg heifer portion of the sale with an impressive $860 (348c/kg).
Angus heifers also topped the 250 – 300kg portion of the females with a large line of 108 Angus heifers weighing 260kg from Hillston NSW securing $885 (340c/kg)
In the cow and calf sales, majority sold were mixed aged. The top price was a line of proven Angus breeders with calves at foot averaging 231kg, from Wallabadah, NSW which sold for $2,520.
