Cameron Smith joins MG as executive general manager

Screen Shot 2016-06-30 at 8.33.59 AM Respected dairy practitioner, Cameron Smith, will step into the role of Executive General Manager, Supplier Relations in an interim capacity at Murray Goulburn, following the resignation of Robert Poole.

“Cameron will join us on 9 January to lead our Field Services, Supplier Services and MG Trading store teams for a six month period,” CEO David Mallinson said.

“As a consultant at Farmanco Pty Ltd, Cameron has extensive experience providing physical and financial management advice to a large group of farmer clients across Northern Victoria and Southern NSW. Cameron also frequently consults to organisations associated with the dairy industry as well as other service providers in the region.”

Cameron has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Agriculture, a Diploma of Business (Human Resources) and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Agricultural Science and Technology. Cameron is a past Board Member of Murray Dairy (from 2004 to 2010).

“Cameron brings with him a wealth of industry experience and will be a valuable addition to our Executive Leadership Team while an extensive search for a permanent Executive General Manager, Supplier Relations is conducted,” Mr Mallinson said.
