Royalla Isobel H135 was the Grand Champion Shorthorn female at the 2016 Sydney Royal show.
At the recent Cattle Dinner held at the 2017 Royal Sydney Show, two Shorthorn breeders were presented with their awards following the judging of World Champion Shorthorn Female and World Champion Shorthorn Bull late in 2016.
The World Champion competition, which is run by The Cattle Market, a market place website company from America, judges many breeds including Shorthorns within their breed and country initially, then by region before announcing overall winners in both the male and female categories.
The 2016 judges included Mr. Glenn Trout (Australia), Mr. Carlos Ojea Rullan (Argentina), Mr. Boomer Birch (England) and Mr. Mark McClintock (USA).
The 2016 winners, crowned Champion of the World were;
Coopers BJS Ace in the Hole (P)(AI) as the Shorthorn Champion of the World bull winner and
Royalla Isobel H135 as the Shorthorn Champion of the World cow winner.
Coopers BJS Ace in the Hole was most recently crowned the Grand Champion Shorthorn Bull at the record breaking 2016 National Shorthorn Show and Sale after having won Supreme Shorthorn exhibit at the 2016 Sydney Royal show.
Royalla Isobel H135 was the Grand Champion Shorthorn female at the 2016 Sydney Royal show and went on to be awarded Reserve Champion Cow in the interbreed judging at Sydney for the Urquhart Trophy.
Her heifer calf at foot at the time, Royalla Isobel L365 was also crowned Junior Champion female at the 2016 EKKA.
