Sale top of $12000 was paid for the outstanding cow Grantley Allen Flora, VG due in June to Alta1stclass.
Backed by many generations of EX & VG dams, she was purchased by A & S Barron of Qld.
Next top of $8700 was paid for Grantley Damion Fantasy (ET) VG one of several outstanding daughters of the 9 SBC Outside Flora, EX, she was purchased by K,H & M Jones of Foster, Vic.
These buyers also selected the high production Grantley Lauthority Jan EX who had just completed over 14,000 litres at $7700 and Grantley Bradnick Gail a VG 1st lactation heifer bred from the famed Canadian Gail family at $4000.
The successful Avonlea herd of John & Cherie Gardiner in Victoria selected many lots bidding via Auctions Plus.
These included Grantley Reginald Biddy VG 88 on 2nd lact. at $6500, Grantley Brendal Opal VG 87 backed by 4 more VG dams at $5750, Grantley Lavan Pontiac VG, a stylish cow bred down from former Sydney Royal winner Grantley Angelo Pontiac, EX 3E at $5250 and Grantley Doorman Fifi at $4250 bred from many generations of EX & VG dams.
Her ET full sister Grantley Doorman Flora sold at $3800 to R & L Blackburn of Burnvale Holsteins, WA. Victorian buyers N & M Staley & Son of Yarram selected several top lots including Grantley Reginald Sky, VG on 1st lact and backed by another 8 gens of EX & VG dams at $6400 and Grantley Damion Fanny, EX at $4000.
B & A Tweddle of Benlargo Holsteins, Glencoe in the South East of SA selected Grantley Sailing Jade at $5000 and Grantley Damion Flora (ET) EX one of 3 EX full ET sisters at $4400.
Selling agents Dairy Livestock Services report buyers were from SA, WA, Qld and all parts of Victoria.
