These Limousin cross calves and their vealer mothers sold for $2850.
A line of Angus/Friesian Cows, with their first calf at foot fathered by a Limousin bull reached $2850, making it the top price for the week on AuctionsPlus.
The top price out of Queensland this week was $1800, and went to a line of 3-7 year old Brangus X Wagyu cows. These cows were PTIC to a Wagyu Bull, and came from Chinchilla, QLD.
Cattle numbers listed online dropped this week by 3,321, totaling 9,628.
Despite scattered showers in Northern NSW and Southern QLD, demand for cattle online continued to waiver with a softer clearance rate compared to previous weeks.
Weaners and heifers made up the majority of listings, and sold well.
The older PTIC cows had a good amount of interest among bidders this week, resulting in some strong prices. 4 year old PTIC angus cows from Mansfield, Victoria stood out in the Eastern States sales, reaching a price of $2120.
Another line of PTIC cows representing Coonamble, NSW fetched a great price of $2110. These 2-3 year old Angus cows were joined to Te Mania and Kidman Angus bulls, and are off to Quirindi.

Steer supply eased off this week, however some great prices were still made. A line of Charolais/Angus steers from Coonabarabran, NSW weighing 364 kg went for $1345 or 370c/kg, and are heading to Bourke.
A line of Angus/Hereford steers were pretty large at 367 kg, came from Coolah, NSW and made $1295 or 352c/kg.

Heifers saw some strong bidding activity today. In particular, a line of Angus heifers from Bingara in NSW stood out to buyers, reaching $1910.
These females were bred out of Booroomooka blood, and hit the scales at 373 kg. Another highlight came out of Amby, QLD with a line of Charolais/Charolais cross 2 to 3 year olds.
These girls were pretty large at 557 kg, and made a well earnt price of $1700.
