BeefUp Day to provide tools for profitability

Qld-cattle-2Beef producers will be able to access tools to improve productivity and profitability during the MLA BeefUp Day at Barcaldine, Queensland.

The seminar will be held on July 12 from 9.30am to 5.30pm at Barcaldine Town Hall.

Producers will find:

  • tools and information to use in their business to improve productivity and profitability
  • an opportunity to investigate training and learning opportunities available in their region
  • information about research projects and producer demonstration sites that are relevant to their region.

Morning session

Afternoon session

  • Genomics – helping genetic decision making to be easy and quick: Prof Ben Hayes, Queensland Alliance for Agriculture & Food Innovation (QAFFI)
  • MLA Update: Richard Norton, Managing Director MLA
