Total cattle listings this week decreased by 1,329 to 8,819 head, with a 59% national clearance rate up 9% from the previous week.
While the New South Welshman listed 3989 head compared to the Queenslanders listing of 3958, the New South Welshman only managed a completion rate of 44% compared to the Queenslanders with a completion rate of 62%.
Joined females were down in numbers to 1521 head, with an increase in competition almost doubling their clearance rate on last week, to 62%.

Conseulo Cattle Company of Rolleston, QLD sold 402 Santa Gertrudis cross steers over 5 lots with 2 lots of the lighter steers averaging 403c/kg.
Top priced heifers in NSW went to a line of 16 month old Angus heifers from Gravesend, NSW weighing 353kg making 417c/kg or $1475. Top priced heifers from QLD went to a line of Angus heifers from Dirranbandi weighing 245kg going for 362c/$891.
