Would you like to better understand your farm water requirements and develop a plan for your current and future water needs?
If you would then get along to Agriculture Victoria’s farm water planning workshop in Creswick on Tuesday 5 December.
Agriculture Victoria Land Management Extension Officer Heather Field said the workshop will help you develop a comprehensive understanding of your farm water requirements and provide you with the knowledge and tools to start planning an efficient farm water reticulation system.
Topics covered will include;
- How to calculate the current and future water requirements of your farming enterprise
- Understanding water supply limitations and options to improve farm water security
- Understanding basic reticulation principles
- Preparing a farm water plan using a simple computerised mapping program.
