Wether lambs averaged $85, while merino wether hoggets averaged $119 and sold from $103 to $134 for a line of 17 to 18 month old wethers from Shelford, VIC weighing 57kg’s.
First cross ewes lambs this week were topped by a line of 6 to 7 month old future breeders from Hovells Creek, NSW, which were by of Inverbrackie Border Leicester rams out of Pooginook ewes, selling for $230.
2.5 to 4.5 year old 64kg First Cross ewes with Second Cross Poll Dorset lambs at foot from Horsham, VIC sold for $275.
