The top price of $3,700 was paid for the outstanding uddered four-year old cow sired by former No. 1 Sire Canbee at the herd dispersal sale of Andrew and Sarah Whitechurch of Swanpool near Benalla at Shepparton.
This top young cow was milking 41 litres and was purchased by M & K Daniel of Waaia.
Next top lot at $2,500 was for a freshly calved four year old Carlos daughter, she was purchased by Glenelen Past. Co of Noorat in Western Victoria.
Other noted sales included $2,400 for a 2 year old Aftershock daughter milking 33 litres and $2,300 for a 2 year old Stonewall daughter, they were both selected by N Whipp of Nanneella.
Selling agents Dairy Livestock services and Landmark report 115 Holstein cows and heifers av $1,700 and sold to buyers from Northern Victoria and Western District with extra strong demand for calved cows and heifers.
