The top price went to 112 Angus weaned steers from Hillston, NSW. The steers are 8-12 months old, are bred from Hazeldean Angus bulls and found a buyer across the border in Casterton, VIC.

Another highlight saw a line of Angus steers from Hannaford, QLD sell for 326c to a buyer in Moonie, QLD. The steers have Booroomooka stud sires, are 6-8 months old and averaged 213kgs.

Steers weighing 280-330kgs averaged 310c, and ranged from 205c to 330c. The top price went to a line of Kennys Creek & Rennylea blood Angus backgrounders from Gunning, NSW.

The steers are 11-12 months, average 349kgs and are heading to Woomargama, NSW. A line of 56 feeder steers are crossing the southern border, heading from Cooma, NSW to Koo Wee, VIC. The steers sold for 317c, weigh 385kgs and are 11-12 months old.

Heifers weighing 200-280kgs averaged 248c, and ranged from 146c to 297c. The top price went to a line of Angus/Hereford heifers from Walwa, VIC.

The heifers are 10-12 months old, weigh 241kgs, are bred from Rennylea, Dunoon & Alpine Angus blood and found a buyer in Koo Wee, VIC.

Another highlight will see 63 Angus heifers from Hannaford, QLD head to Moree, NSW for 281c. The heifers are 6-10 months old, bred from Booroomooka blood and averaged 279kgs.

Heifers weighing 280-330kgs averaged 265c, and ranged from 241c to 314c. This top price was achieved by a line of Angus heifers from Nowendoc, NSW.

The heifers are pure Hazeldean blood, weighed in at 292kgs and found a buyer in Holbrook, NSW. A line of 80 Angus heifers from Walcha, NSW will be making the journey north to Goondiwindi, QLD. The heifers weigh 294kgs and sold for 259c.

The Tasmanian cattle sale continues its strong run with all 3 lots offered selling. Interaction was also high with 24 bidders logging in and 856 catalogue views.

The sales highlight was 15 Poll Shorthorn yearling steers from Latrobe selling for $1,050 or 361c/kg live to a buyer in Leith, Tasmania.
