The top price was returned by a line of Grathlyn/Avon blood future breeder ewe lambs from Coolamon, NSW.

These lambs are Jul/Aug ’18 drop, weigh 52kgs with a 2” skin and will travel Narrandera, NSW.

Merino ewe hogget’s sold from $72 to $272 to average $175, down $42 on last week. The top price was returned by a mob of Banavie blood NSM ewes. From St Arnaud, VIC, these ewes are 14-16 months and weigh 61kgs with a 1” skin.

Young breeder Merino Ewes (aged 2-4 years) sold from $145 to $200 and averaged $183, down $17 on last week.

The top price was returned by a line of Cottage Park blood ewes and lambs from Boorowa, NSW which found a local buyer.

These ewes are rising 4 years and weigh 58kgs with a 2” skin, the Merino lambs at foot are 1-2 months old and weigh 18kgs. Proven breeder Merino ewes (4+ years) sold from $73 to $231 and averaged $162, up $2 on last week.

The top price was returned by a line of 290 Bella Lana blood NSM ewes from Dunedoo, NSW which are rising 5 years old and weigh 68kgs with a 2.5” skin.

Merino wether lambs sold from $51 to $143 to average $118, down $6 on last week. The top price was returned by 245 Nyowee/Moorundie blood Poll Merino wethers from Marcollat, SA and will travel to Jamestown, SA.

These lambs are Jun/July ’19 drop and weigh 39kgs with a 1.5” skin. Merino wethers were the popular buy this week with a 95% clearance across the stock category and holding firm on last week to average $110.

Selling from $71 to $153, the top price was returned by 280 woolgrower wethers from Euroa, VIC. These wethers are rising 2 years and weigh 49kgs with a 2.5” skin, secured by a buyer from Yandoit, VIC.

First cross ewe lambs sold from $150 to $225 and averaged $193, down $11 on last week. The top price was achieved by a line of 240 future breeder ewe lambs from Kingston, SA.

These lambs are May/June ’19 drop, weighing 42kgs and found a buyer in Lucindale, SA. First cross ewes sold well this week commanding premium prices for top lines and averaging $240, firm on last week. Selling from $176 to $319, the top price was returned by a line of 210 rising 3-year-old first cross ewes from Tullamore, NSW. These ewes weigh 62kgs and have 254 LAF, sired by Poll Dorset rams which will travel south to a buyer in Waubra, VIC.

The lamb market has cooled online in the past couple weeks, settling on 80% clearance and the average price also slipped under the 400c live weight mark, averaging 395c this week. Listings totalled 42,282 head and sold from 332c to tops of 558c, highlights include:
