PTIC heifers sold from $1,040 to $2,025 and averaged $1,388.
The top price went to a line of Te Mania Angus heifers (pictured) from Millthorpe, NSW.
These heifers are 24-26 months, have been joined to an Angus bull and sold to a buyer across the border in Furner, SA.
Cows with CAF found a 91% clearance and averaged $1450, up $161 on last week. The bulk of the listings came out of southern NSW and VIC, with a small offering from Southern QLD.
Prices ranged from $910 to $1960. This top price went to 80 Angus Cows & Calves from Casterton, VIC. The cows are 5-6 years old, have 137kg CAF, are bred from Dunoon blood and found a buyer in Cobbadah, NSW.
Another highlight saw 21 Angus Heifers & Calves from Naracoorte, SA sell for $1,800 to a buyer in Murray Bridge, SA. These heifers are 24-27 months and have 112kg calves sired by Granite Ridge blood bulls.
Steers weighing under 200kgs sold from 325c to 357c to average 339c. The top price went to 93 Nairne Park blood Angus steers from Glen Innes.
The steers are 11-12 months old, weigh 193kgs and found a buyer in Coonamble, NSW. Another highlight saw Angus/Santa Gertrudis steers from Blackall, QLD sell for 325c. These steers weigh 158kgs, are 4-6 months old and will head to Winton, QLD.
Steers weighing between 280 and 330 kgs sold from 199c to 353c to average 330c, up 18c on last week.
The top price went to a line of 61 weaned Angus steers from Woomargarma, NSW. These steers are 7-8 months old, weigh 318 kgs and will cross the border to Lucindale, SA. Another highlight saw a line of Angus backgrounder steers from Goondiwindi, QLD sell to a buyer in Barnawartha North, VIC. The steers are 314kgs and have been bred from Te Mania and Hazeldean blood.
Steers weighing over 330kgs sold from 299c to 345c to average 320c, up 2c on last week. The top price went to 54 Angus weaned steers from Woomargama, NSW. The steers weighed 364kgs, are aged 7-8 months, are Glenruben blood and are heading to Holbrook, NSW.
The top price was followed closely by 2 lines of Angus feeder steers from Texas, QLD selling for 340c. These steers are 15-20 months old, weigh 400kgs and found a buyer in Dalby, QLD.
Heifers weighing 200-280kgs sold from 220c to 321c to average 267c. The top price went to 16 yearling heifers from Armidale, NSW. The heifers are 13-14 months old, weigh 203kg and are on their way to Quambone, NSW.
From Elizabeth Town, TAS, 28 yearling Hereford/Friesian heifers sold for 224c. These heifers are 271kgs, 12-13 months old and found a buyer in Trowutta, TAS. Heifers weighing between 280 and 330kgs sold from 259c to 319c and averaged 291c, up 21c.
Heifers weighing over 330kgs sold from 257c to 311c to average 294c, up 16c on last week. The top price was returned by 50 NSM Angus yearling heifers from Highlands, VIC. The heifers are 12-13 months, weigh 386kgs, are bred from Connamara bulls and are heading to Wodonga, VIC.
Other highlights include 335kg Angus future breeders from Tooma selling for 306c, and 337kg Angus future breeders from Gonndiwindi selling for 297c.
The WA cattle sale found a 78% clearance for the 10 lots offered. Limousin/Angus steer vealers from Northcliffe sold for 303c to a buyer in Wannamal.
These heifers are 7-9 months old and weigh 319kgs. Another highlight saw 233kg, 7-8 month old Murray Grey heifers from Northcliffe sell for 280c to a buyer in Pemberton, WA.
