Other highlights include unweaned Poll Hereford/ Angus steers, aged 9 to 10 months, weighing 322kg from Nabowla, TAS returned 351c; Angus steers, aged 14 to 16 months, weighing 318kg from Rouchel, NSW returned 302c.

Heavier steers weighing 330-400kgs sold from 292c to 363c, and returned an average of 327c, up 20c on last week. The top price went to Coolana & Glatz blood Angus steers, aged 9 to 10 months, weighing 363kg from Penola, SA.

Other highlights include Angus steers, agedĀ  13 to 14 months, 358kg from Tomahawk, TAS returning 336c; Angus steers, aged 8 to 10 months, 352kg from Jingellic, NSW returned 318c.

Cows with their first calves at foot averaged $1,145 and prices ranged from $750 to $1,800. The top price went to a line of Gilmour, Danedite and Moolaboola blood Angus cows from Camperdown, VIC.

These cows are aged from 4 to 7 years, weigh 560kg and have been depastured to Angus bulls. The Angus calves at foot are aged from 5 to 6 months and weigh 268kg. From Nambrok, VIC Hereford cows and calves sold for $1,600.

These cows are aged from 4 to 5 years and weigh 589kg. The Angus calves at foot are 2 to 3 months old and weigh 112kg. From the north, a line of predominantly Santa cows and calves from Roma, QLD sold to a buyer in Longreach for $1,110.

These cows are aged 4 to 9 years, weigh 526kg and have 7 to 12 week old Angus calves at foot.

PTIC females averaged $1,255 and prices ranged from $840 to $1,550. From Nambrok, VIC 134 Hereford PTIC cows were sold for an average of $1,531, to Victorian and South Australian buyers.

These cows are aged 3 to 4 years and have been PTIC to Hereford bulls. A line of PTIC Angus and Angus cross heifers from Walcha, NSW sold for $940. These heifers are aged 17 to 18 months, weigh 357kg and have been PTIC to Angus bulls.

Light steers under 200kgs sold from 247c to 406c averaged 359c. The top price went to 170 Angus steers, aged 4 to 5 months, 151kg, from Blackville, NSW.

Other highlights include Angus & Angus cross steers weighing 175kg from Dunedoo, NSW returned 347c; Angus/ Hereford steers weighing 174kg from Glen Innes, NSW returned 313c.

Steers weighing between 200-280kgs sold from 195c to 361c, to average 298c, down 5c on last week. The top price went to Unweaned Angus steers, aged 8 to 10 months, weighing 260kg from Claude Road, TAS.
