ABS Australia has cut all on-farm staff visits to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
General manager Marcus Rees said the move would not decrease support to clients.
All staff will continue to work and are available via phone and email.
“We received confirmation from the USA the ABS semen supply would continue,” Mr Rees said.
“This means Australian farmers will still be able to have semen from the sires they want, when they need it. Please feel free to contact any of our staff if you would like to discuss this or if there is anything we can do to assist you.
“These are unparalleled times and the situation continues to develop. ABS is committed to keeping our clients informed.”
