Despite the current pandemic and many economic concerns, ABS believes that the agricultural industry in general and, in particular, the beef and dairy sectors, have incredible opportunities to take advantage of going forward.
Marcus Rees, ABS General Manager has introduced Annie Pumpa as the newest member of the ABS team.
Annie grew up in the Riverina on a family mixed enterprise farm outside Culcairn NSW. She has a vast range of knowledge on both a commercial and seedstock level across many breeds. She has a passion for carcass competitions, youth programs and networking throughout the industry.
Annie has judged at many country shows as well as being involved in showing beef cattle at a number of Royal Shows.
Annie is a huge advocate for youth in agriculture and is currently President of the National Hereford Youth Committee. She has also travelled to New Zealand and Canada to compete and learn more about the beef industry.
ABS Beef Product & Sales Manager Bill Cornell was excited to welcome her.
“We look forward to Annie progressively creating and nurturing relationships with our customers into the future,” he said.
“Initially, Annie will provide support to the beef team but will be involved in all aspects of beef, dairy and Beef InFocus™ as well as all the proprietary products that ABS offers.”
