Shorthorn bulls were in demand at the 2021 National Show and Sale, topping at $40,000 for a Polldale bull.
The $12,627 average for the 67 bulls sold was well up on the 2020 average of $8240.
Heifers were also highly sought after with a 100 clearance to average $5133.
The 15 heifers topped twice at $8500 being Lot 87, Tarraganda BT Gypsy R10, Tarraganda Shorthorns to Tippetts glengyron and Lot 99, Southcote Jupiter R42, Southcote Shorthorns to Dunroan Shorthorns.
