Steers 200-280kg liveweight averaged $1,373/head for the 1,920 head offered in 2021, increasing 31% from 2020 and 87% from 2019.
Steers 280-330kg liveweight registered a 73% increase from 2019 prices ($899/head) to 2021 ($1,557/head).
Heifers 200-280kg liveweight resulted in the average price increasing by 149% from 2019 to 2021, with prices averaging $501 and $1,247/head, respectively.
Station mated heifers returned the largest increase of the reported categories with prices increasing by 275%. Station mated heifers averaged $1,596/head in 2021, increasing 64% from 2020 ($972/head) and 275% from 2019 ($425/head).
Cows with CAF saw a 121% increase in price from 2019 to 2021, with the current period averaging $2,567/unit.
