These Boer does, two to three years, from Gilgandra, sold for $538.

First cross Boer/Rangeland goats were in high demand, with 100% clearance achieved for the 406 head offered.

A line of first cross continuously joined nannies, 8-14 months old, weighing 26kg, from Brewarrina NSW, returned $140/head.

From Roma Queensland, a line of 136 first cross does, 3-10 months old, weighing 12kg, sold for $120/head.

Rangeland does sold between $110 and $167, averaging $124 – back $10/head from previous fortnight. The top priced lot was a line of 450 continuously joined does with 230 kids at foot from Quilpie, Queensland.

The mixed age does averaged 32kg, while the kids at foot averaged 10kg, and will travel north to Longreach, Queensland.

There was 1,680 Rangeland backgrounding bucks offered, selling between $95 and $111, to average $100/head. From Broken Hill NSW, a line of 260 bucks sold for $111/head.

The bucks ranged from 4-20 months of age, with an average weight of 18kg liveweight and will head south to Deniliquin, NSW.

There was also a small offering of Savannah bucks and does from Bathurst NSW, listed in the most recent sale. The Savannah bucks, one 2-years-old and one 5-years-old, both sold for $200/head. The second cross Savannah/Boer cross does, 5-6 months old, weighing 20kg, returned $135/head.
