Exhibitors are calling 2022 the best AgQuip ever in terms of sales,
Exhibitors and organisers are hailing the 49th official Aon AgQuip as a major success, with exhibitors reporting over a hundred million dollars worth of sales over the three-day event.
Close to 100,000 people streamed through the gates, with Wednesday proving the most popular with crowds.
AgQuip General Manager, Kate Nugent said there was a great atmosphere and a sense of overwhelming success.
“We could not be happier with the turnout for the 2022 Aon AgQuip. The sun was shining, crowds were big, and exhibitors have reported a massive number of sales and orders,” said Ms Nugent.
“It has been an epic return for Aon AgQuip, and a fantastic result for everyone involved.”
2022 marked a return to normal operations for the nation’s largest agricultural field days, with the last two events cancelled due to COVID-19.
This year’s focus was on agricultural education, agri-tech innovations and rural support, with large machinery and equipment top of the list for many attendees.
“While we welcome families and school groups through the gates, for many, Aon AgQuip is a business event,” said Ms Nugent.
“We’ve heard so many positive stories from exhibitors, with many completely selling out of stock, setting them up for the next 18-24 months.
“Exhibitors are calling 2022 the best AgQuip ever in terms of sales, and that could not make me happier.”
The pack down and clean up of the Black Jack Road site has now begun, and organisers will soon begin planning for the official 50th AgQuip in 2023.
