Sale top of $11,000 was paid for Warrain Casino Roma, the # 7 gBPI Cow in the Breed at +434, backed by an EX 91 Valentino then an EX Jace, she was purchased by Emu Banks Jerseys of Terang.
The same buyers also selected Warrain Chrome Treasure 4 and her full sister Chrome Treasure 5 at $6,000 each along with Warrain Valentino Empress 21 also at $6,000.
Second top lot at $9,500 was Warrain Chrome Lovelies 6, BPI +328, a daughter of the # 3 BPI Cow in the Breed sold to G Singh of Collins Creek, NSW, the same buyer also selected Warrain David Lovelies, VG 87, the # 8 BPI Cow in the Breed at $6,000.
At equal third top of the sale at $9,000 was Warrain Casino Empress 9, a daughter of the EX 92 Galvanize Empress to G & L Bryce of Green Pines Jerseys. The same buyers also purchased Warrain Chrome Lovelies 5 at $8,500 and Warrain Jeronimo Dream one of many outstanding milking heifers by the Jeronimo Sire at $8,000. Also at $9,000 was Warrain Change Jill, VG 88 selling to Kaarmona Jerseys.
NSW buyers A & C Coombes selected top lots including Warrain Chrome Empress 6 an 87 point 2 year old at $7,500, Warrain Vanahlem Lovelies 5, EX 91 also at $7,500 and Warrain Valentino Buttercup, EX 92 at $7,000.
M & S Thompson of Bamawn added several outstanding cows to their herd throughout the sale including
Warrain Craze Princess, a tremendous young cow backed by the deep Eurarie Princess line at $7,500 and Warrain Jeronimo Princess at $6,000. Simon Reid paid $7,000 for the classy 2 year old Warrain Valentino Empress 24. At the same money Warrain Jeronimo Lovelies 3 sold to Araluen Park Jerseys who also selected Warrain Valentino Olive 2, VG 88 at $6,500.
Return buyer Graeme Cochrane of Kangaroo Valley, NSW selected several cows including Warrain Valentino Empress 20, EX 90, Warrain Joel Empress and Warrain Lemon Love Kiss 4 all at $6,500 each. The well known Darryn Vale herd of the Hourigan Family paid $6,500 for Warrain Valentino Lovelies 12, VG 88.
Other noted sales included Warrain David Desire a tremendous 2 year old at $6,000 to Jaynaela P/L of Byrneside. Warrain Valentino Empress 23 at $6,000 to Benlock Jerseys. Also at $6,000 was Warrain Jeronimo Empress to K Couch of Warrnambool and Warrain Invincible Empress to G & N Akers.
