The NSW Sheep and Goat eID Tag Discount Program provides a discount of $0.76 each (incl GST) for 2025 NLIS-accredited white eID devices when purchased from a retailer or manufacturer before 31 October 2025.
The $10.2 million fund has been designed to maximise benefits for producers while minimising administrative responsibilities, using the best available estimates of the number of lambs and kids that will be born in NSW in 2025 to ensure producers across NSW will benefit.
However, funds may be exhausted within the program prior to the end date. It is therefore recommended that producers purchase their eID devices as soon as lamb or kid numbers are known.
The discount can be applied on one order per PIC for orders under 3,500. Multiple orders are allowed for orders greater than 3,500 devices.
Producers who require more than 3,500 devices will need to request pre-approval via the website.
