A large crowd of Holstein enthusiasts from throughout NSW and Victoria were at Meroo Meadow on NSW’s South Coast for the Complete Dispersal of the milking herd and all joined heifers of Opportunity Holsteins.
The sale top of $4500 was reached twice when Pomona Allister Suzie, VG 87 a 5 year old from a 3 SBC Nobel dam sold to M & R Wilson of Jamberoo and Opportunity Goldino Martha, a smart uddered 4 year old went to M & D Jarrett of Bolong.
Other noted sales included Opportunity Shottle Fusion, VG 88 at $3600 selling to M & R Wilson, Jamberoo, Opportunity Planet Tina also at $3600 to P Cullen of Wintercrest Holsteins, Gerringong.
Opportunity Reality Alicia at $3300 to M & D Jarrett.
Selling agents Dairy Livestock Services report buyers came from Bega, Hunter Valley and local areas of NSW and Orbost in Vic.
