The Blue Ribbon Invitation Limousin Sale topped at $6250 at the Allora Showgrounds on November 19.
The top price was achieved for Benjarra Hayley, a black polled cow with a cracker apricot bull calf at foot, selling to the Wilkes family, Leon Limousins.
Benjarra Pastoral Company offered three cow and calf units, selling for an average of $5,250.
BJF Limousins draft included BJF S.V.E Spice Girl, a young cow with a bull calf at foot, who sold to Ray Zahnow of Fernvale Limousins for $4,500 and also BJF Yankee Candy K163 who sold for $4,000 to young stud breeder Cooper Rafton.
Kents Lagoon Licorice Moon, a polled black show heifer topped the led heifer section at $5,250 selling to the Cooper family, CCJ’S Limousins.
The Hartwig family put a quality line of heifers together including AT Little Princess $5,000, Doublebar Lannah $4,000, Little Rock Little Bits $1,750, Little Rock Lady Ga Ga $2,000 and the unled heifer BJF Wysdon Angelique K181 for $3,000. The Franz family purchased two heifers to kick off their Limousin Stud including Jen-Daview Missy for $4,250 & Ro-maree Licorice for $2,500.
Semen packages topped at $400 per straw for Greenwood PLD Zambuka. Travis Luscombe was the volume buyer in the led steer section taking home four steers including the top price steer Yuranga Blackjack offered by Sam Weier for $2,400 and the second top steer Moses for $2,200.
The Downfall Limousins sold two steers to average $1,700, Neville Creighton sold four steers to average $1,525, Billy Goetsch averaged $1,800 for his two steers and Cathy Yarnold sold two steers including Ringo selling to Luke Cox for $1,850.
